Mitchell of Hickory; her great grandchildren, Alyvia Rose Aikens and Raniya Mitchell of Hickory; her nephew Brian Moon of Dorchester; her daughter-in-law Tonia Mitchell of Asheville; and her siblings, Carrie Mitchell of Dorchester and Allen Mitchell Sr. (Bernice) of Hickory. She was also cherished by nieces, nephews, many other relatives and friends.
