He was predeceased by: his son James P. Adams. He is survived by: his wife Eileen M. (Salter); his children, Michael J. (Beth Adams) of Dorchester, Jean M. Adams of Dorchester and Richard J. Adams Jr. of Dorchester; and his grandchildren, Brendan, Lauren, Thomas, Ashley and Pierce. He is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
