It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Rosemary J. (Crowley) Dowling (Dorchester, Massachusetts), who passed away on April 28, 2020, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband John "Ben" Dowling; and her sister Frances Kovera. She is survived by: her children, Rosemary (Michael McCarthy) of Duxbury, Margaret "Chickie" (David Searles) of Marshfield, John B. III (Ellen Dowling) of North Grafton and Ralph (Michelle Dowling) of Stoneham; her grandchildren, Kerri, Michael, Brian, Christine, John, Charlie, Johnny, Katherine, Daniel, Kevin and Colleen; her great grandchildren, Ashleigh, Anna, Bobby and James; and her siblings, Peggy Knox, Ellen Ryan, Joan Flemming and John Crowley. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Rosemary's memory may be made to the American Cancer Society, http://www.cancer.org A private committal service will be held in St. Joseph Cemetery in West Roxbury and a celebration of Rosemary's life will take place at a later date.
