She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, William Brown Sr. and Lydia Y. Brown; her brother-in-law David Foster; her grandsons, Torey Evans and Dana Jackson; her great grandchild Azariah Evans; her children, Bruce Brown, Patrice Evans, Ronald Evans, Cornelius Evans, Johnny Evans, Wakeelaa Evans (Charles) and Laquan Thomas; her son-in-law Archie Charles; her stepdaughter Lucy Dykes; her sisters, Patricia Roberts of Georgia, Sandra Foster of South Carolina and Lydia Rich of Massachusetts; and her uncle Rev. William Young of South Carolina. She was also cherished by her five brothers and one sister.
