He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Szymczak and Louise Szymczak (Filipowicz); and his brother Edward Szymczak. He is survived by: his siblings, Mary Szymczak, Josephine Stewart and Leocadia McBride. He is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, grandnieces, grandnephews, great-grandnieces, and great-grandnephews.
