She was predeceased by: her husband Harold; and her son David. She is survived by: her parents, Wibbie Carpenter (Kortekamp) and Walter L. Carpenter; and her siblings, Walter Carpenter of Douglas, Carol Swallow of Douglas, Sally Ballou of Douglas and Nancy Dyer of Kingsport, TN.. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, and other close family and friends.

Memorial donations may be made to the Douglas Fire Dept., c/o Ambulance Fund, P.O. Box 222, Douglas, MA 01516.
