He is survived by: his wife Sally J. (Carpenter); his sons, Edward Ballou Jr. (Vickie) and Frederick Ballou; his grandsons, Kevin C. Ballou and Eric R. Ballou; his sisters-in-law, Nancy Dyer (Mills), Carol Swallow of Douglas and Marilyn Carpenter of Douglas; and his close friend Leanne. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
