With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Melissa Thorndike (Dover, Massachusetts), whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. As Melissa departs from this earthly realm, her essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Melissa may no longer walk beside us, her spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Melissa leaves behind.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Bill Seavy and Chris Seavy; and her sisters, Cheryl Gutner and Diane Seavy. She is survived by: her husband Augustus Thorndike III; and her sister Jennifer Pratt. She is also survived by many cousins, nieces and nephews.
