He was predeceased by: his parents, Theofila Burleigh and Winfield Burleigh. He is survived by: his wife Mary; his children, Sheilah Burleigh-Segatore, Sarah Burleigh-Cochran (Edward) and Tom Burleigh (Krista); and his grandchildren, Sophia, Maia, Max, Hannah, Nate, Padraig, Nolan, Brendan and Nola.

The family requests, in lieu of flowers, donations to one of Jim's favorite charities, The Wounded Warriors Project would be appreciated.
