He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Gladys M. Fontes (Teixeira); his parents, William K. Fontes and Mary Fontes (Pacheco); his children, Christine Porell (Thomas), Garrett Fontes (Claire) and William (Nancy); and his grandchildren, Katherine, Elizabeth, Will, Caroline, Thomas, Manny, Maria and Peter.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to St. Anthony's Parish of Falmouth and to St. Jude's Hospital.
