He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles E. Kraus Jr. and Jean Kraus (Bomen). He is survived by: his wife Linda Kraus (Shearer); his stepmother Sally Kraus; his niece Courtney Duclos (Ryan Buckley); his nephew Nick Broska (Kristin); his great-nieces and great-nephews, Shaylyn, Annabelle, Alex and Evan; and his pets, Stella and Indy.
