She was predeceased by: her siblings, Ina Blitz and Albert Blitz; and her parents, Martha Blitz and Isador "Irving" Blitz. She is survived by: her husband Bill Luty; her children, Joanna Luty of Longmeadow and Emmett Luty of New Orleans; and her grandson Charlie Franco of Longmeadow.
