She was predeceased by: her husband Donald Chaffee; her children, Ashley G. Chaffee and Dawn M. Chaffee; and her granddaughter Melissa Mestre. She is survived by: her sons, Donald A. Chaffee Jr. of East Otis, Clayton N. Chaffee of East Otis and Leslie Chaffee of East Otis. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren.
