Shirley Stempka Obituary
We are sad to announce that on June 2, 2025, Shirley Stempka of East Taunton, Massachusetts passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Frederick Stempka; and her parents, John Horta and Laura Horta (Willette). She is survived by: her daughters, Constance Marie Fernandez (Allan) and Laura Branco; her grandchildren, Michael Fernandez, Christopher Fernandez, Zachary Branco, Amanda Fernandez (Fonzie) and Alexandra Hernandez; her great grandchild Samantha Hernandez; her sisters, Laura, Linda and Ann Wetherell; her brother-in-law Joseph Stempka (Ann); her pet Henry; and her close friend Jackie Oliveira. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, June 8th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Silva Funeral Home (80 Broadway, Taunton, MA 02780). A funeral service will be held on Monday, June 9th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Monday, June 9th 2025 at 12:30 PM at the Massachusetts National Cemetery.
