We are sad to announce that on September 20, 2018, Alan Fernandes (Fairhaven, Massachusetts), born in New Bedford, Massachusetts passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parent Antone "Bucky" Fernandes; and his sibling David Fernandes. He is survived by: his spouse Kathleen Fernandes (Galary); his parent Mildred H. Fernandes (Bates) of Fairhaven; his sons, Scott Fernandes and Eric Fernandes; and his siblings, Susan Baptista (Humberto) of Acushnet, Carol Fernandes (Leo Sheehan) of Raynham, Gail Bourgault of Dartmouth and Bruce Fernandes (Jeannie) of Acushnet. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Alan's name to the Muscular Dystrophy Association, 50 Federal St. 6th fl, Boston, MA 02110.
