It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Frank Makara of Fairhaven, Massachusetts, born in New Bedford, Massachusetts, who passed away on January 26, 2021, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his wife Lucy T. Makara (Folger); his parents, Simorn Makara and Mary Makara (Seliga); his son Michael J. Makara; and his brother Ted.

He is survived by : his children, Stephen Makara (Cindy) of New Bedford and Marianne Gaboriault (Richard) of Pawtucket, RI; and his siblings, Casmir, Walter, Fred, Joseph Makara, Erwina Moniz, Euginia Silva and Stella Deluga. He is also survived by six grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren and a great, great grandson.

All other arrangements are private due to Covid restrictions.
