Avila of Fairhaven, Massachusetts, born in New Bedford, Massachusetts, who passed away at the age of 79, on February 6, 2022. She was predeceased by : her parents, Gordon Westley Diggle, Sr. and Ethel Winifred Diggle (Sheehan); and her sisters, Phyllis and Roberta. She is survived by : her husband Jules M. Avila, Jr.; her stepdaughter Julie Ann Dugas; her granddaughter Jesselyn Dugas of Fairhaven; her adoptive children, Patrick and Amber Avila; her siblings, Charlotte Coutinho of New Bedford, Marilyn Tavares of New Bedford, Ella Antone of New Bedford and Gordon W. Diggle, Jr. of Cape Coral, FL.; and her close friend Shirley E. Luiz of Cape Coral.
