She was predeceased by: her husband John M. Brum, Sr.; and her sister Margaret Ferreira. She is survived by: her children, John M. Brum, Jr (Amy) of South Dartmouth, Kevin M. Brum (April) of San Diego, CA and Erica L. Brum (Sean Gonsalves) of Fall River; her grandchildren, Ethan, Johnny, Eli, Lucas, Ian and Eliana; and her siblings, Maria D. Soares of Fall River, Jose Medeiros of Fall River, Dennis Medeiros of Little Compton, RI, Oliver Sousa of Fall River and Antonio Medeiros. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
