She was loved and cherished by many people including: her spouse Ilidio B. Melo; her parents, Jacinto Victoria and Costa Cançela; her children, Fatima Amaral (João), Ilidia Melo (Luis) and Ilidio C. Melo (Nina); and her grandchildren, Jeffrey, Faith (Brian Amaral), Kevin, David (Jason Melo) and Matthew (Mark Melo). She was also cherished by nine great-grandchildren, many nieces and nephews.
