He was predeceased by: his sibling Elsye Johnson; and his parent Alphonse Soares. He is survived by: his spouse Irene P.; his children, David Alphonse Soares (Diana Tyrell) of Fall River and Cynthia Perry (Soares); his grandchildren, Sean Richard Perry (Brittney) of Rehoboth, David Alphonse Perry, Lucas David Soares and Travis Thomas Soares; his great grandchildren, Meya Perry and Ella Perry; and his parent Mary Soares (Silvia). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
