He is survived by: his parent Maria Resendes (Estrella); his children, Maria Pereira (Jose) of Fall River, Ana Pereira (Carlos) of Fall River and Mario Resendes (Theresa) of Somerset; and his siblings, Maria C. Ferreira of St. Michael, Angelina Ferreira of Fall River, Maria Moniz of Canada, Humberto Resendes and Jose Joaquim Resendes. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
