She was loved and cherished by many people including: her daughter Debra Alexander (Richard) of Alaska; her stepson John Perry of Fall River; her grandchildren, April Buzby, Melody Gemuend, Sunshine Miller and Richard Alexander III; her brother Norman Rego of Somerset; her child Lawrence Perry; and her parents, Antone Rego and Mary Rego (Farias). She was also cherished by nieces and nephews.
