He is survived by: his wife Maria Aragão (Matos); his children, Paula Carey of Westport, John Aragão of Taunton, Michelle Aragão, Jennifer Aragão of Fall River and Stephanie Medden of Taunton; his parents, João Sousa and Maria; his siblings, Militão, António, Augusta, Maria Júlia, Conceição, José Manuel, Diamantina of São Miguel, Azores, Isabel of Lisbon, Portugal, Cecilia of Ontario and Paulo Luís of Sudan; and also Conceição Aragão (Correia). He is also survived by children and their partners, João is survived by his greatest pride - nine grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
