It is with great sadness that we announce the death of João M. Benevides (Fall River, Massachusetts), who passed away on June 22, 2018, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parent José Benevides; and his sibling Manuel. He is survived by: his parent Maria; his son David Benevides (Nelia); his grandchildren, Angelina Benevides, Jonathan Benevides and Joseph Benevides; his siblings, José, Antonio, Maria, Guilhermina Benevides and Carolina Dias; and also, Trindade Raposa of Melo and Anjos Benevides (Moniz). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
