He is survived by: his wife Maria Natalia Melo (Furtado); his children, Conceicao "Connie" Perdigao, Maria Fatima Roque, Jon Melo of Fall River and Fernanda Botelho; his grandchildren, Brittany, Kyle, Brandon, Tyler, Jordan, Taylor and Nathan; and his sisters, Maria Lucia Pacheco Melo of Ribeira Seca and Maria Ana Pacheco Melo. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
