He is survived by: his parent Maria Lourenco (Franco); his children, Leonor Roias of Fall River, Gabriela Amaral of Açores, Jose Manuel Barreira of Somerset, Liberal Roias of Açores, Luis Barreira of Açores, Graça Raposo of Fall River, Renato Roias of Açores and Lourdes Barreira; and also Espirito Santo Barreira (Moniz). He is also survived by 24 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren as well as many nieces and nephews.
