She is survived by: her son Celio Chaves (Laurie Hubert) of Fall River; and her siblings, Maria Helena Chaves of Montreal, Canada, Jose Chaves of Tiverton, Manuel Chaves of Montreal, Canada, Laura Batista, Ermelinda Cabral and Conceicao Chaves. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
