She is survived by: her children, Joseph Fragata, Theresa Kanuse (Steven), Helen Oliveira (Dennis) and Tanya Fragata (Aaron Correira); her grandson D. J. Oliveira; and her siblings, Anjos Cabral, Dimas, Manuel and Jose Bettencourt. She is also survived by nieces and nephews and her adored cat.
