He was predeceased by: his sister Irene Demers; and his uncle Victor J.. He is survived by: his wife Lucille Demers (Lavoie); his sons, Omer H. Demers and Michael R. Demers; and his aunt Eva Demers (Landry). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
