He is survived by: his parent Eva Bruneau (Rioux); his children, Cynthia Carvalho of Fall River, Brenda Aguiar (Richard) of Fall River, Douglas Carvalho (Anna) of Fall River, Rene Bruneau, Jr. of Fall River, Nancy Furtado (John) of Dartmouth and Sandra Bosse (Richard) of Fall River; and his siblings, Chuck, Roger, Donald, William, Raymond, Lorraine Bruneau and Pauline Lynch. He is also survived by grandchildren and several great-grandchildren as well as several nieces and nephews.
