She was predeceased by: her spouse Joseph M. Baptista; her child Patricia "Pat" Baptista; her parent Joseph P.; and her sibling Leona Theriault. She is survived by: her children, William B. Baptista (Deborah) of Rehoboth and Rose Arruda (Alan) of Fall River; her grandchildren, Christopher A. Arruda (Sheri) of Dartmouth, Thomas M. Arruda (Jamie Lawton Arruda) of Newport, RI and Lindsey T. Baptista of Rehoboth; her stepgrandchild Joey Martinez; her great grandchildren, Brooke Arruda and Zephyr Arruda; her siblings, Lillian Rioux of Fall River and Joseph Rioux; her parent Aurora Rioux (Poisson); and her siblings, Anita Miller, Mary Jane Ventura, Helen Machado, Raymond, Adolphe, Rene and Ludger Rioux. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
