He was predeceased by: his parent William Hanson. He is survived by: his spouse Geraldine Hanson (Coppinger); his children, Deborah Scholes (Tom) of Florida, Tammy DeCosta (Horacio) of Fall River and William Hanson, Jr. of Fall River; his grandchildren, Joshua Wagner of Fall River, Marisa Hanson of Tiverton, Lexi DeCosta and Morgan DeCosta; his siblings, Geraldine Nickerson (Earl) of Little Compton, Linda Mello (Paul) of Fall River and Michael Hanson (Linda) of Warren; and his parent Belmira Hanson (Rocha). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
