He was predeceased by: his parents, Stanley Carlson and Yvette Carlson (LaBranche) of Brockton; his siblings, Louise Leroy of Raynham and William MacEwen of Colorado; and his stepson Paul McDonald of Stoneham.
He is survived by: his children, Kenneth Carlson (Kathleen Dunlea) of South Easton, Jeffrey Carlson (Susan Faria) of East Sandwich, Karen Schidlovsky (Michael) of Durham, NH and Kimberly Feeley (John) of Carver; his grandchildren, Alec, Nicholas, Adrian Schidlovsky, Marina, Emily Carlson, Sean and Ryan Feeley; his stepchildren, Karen McDonald of Whitman, Philip McDonald of Olney, MD, Susan Beddia of Raynham and Christopher McDonald of Whitman; and his close friend Steve Beddia of Raynham.
In retirement Gene worked for five years managing the Falcon Golf Course Pro Shop for the U.S. Coast Guard at Otis Air Force Base.Donations in Gene's memory can be sent to the Eugene W. Carlson Memorial Fund, Christ Lutheran Church 485 Brick Kiln Road Falmouth, MA 02540.
