We are sad to announce that on July 28, 2025, at the age of 88, Louise Carolyn Soares in Falmouth, Massachusetts, born in Needham, Massachusetts passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert B. Praetsch and Margaret A. Praetsch (Zeigler); her husband George R. Soares, Jr. of Falmouth; and her siblings, Margaret A. Tocci, Clara Kenefick, Elsie Viles, Roland R. Praetsch and Richard A. Praetsch.
She is survived by: her daughters, Sharon (Kenneth Teixeira) of Falmouth, Ruth (Ralf Schiffmann) of Falmouth and Beth Soares (William Whitlock) of Falmouth; her granddaughters, Crystal Sanders, Felicia Gillion, Sara (Andy Dunn) and Amanda Schiffmann; and her great grandchildren, Tyler, Jeffrey, Jamie, Paris, Aubrey and Brayden. She is also survived by three great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, August 12th 2025 from 10:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the Falmouth Baptist Church (60 Central Park Ct, Falmouth, MA 02540). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, August 12th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
