She was predeceased by: her spouse Allyn I. Abramson; and her sibling William Hurwitz. She is survived by: her children, Andrea Baron (James) of Waltham and Carla Smargon; her grandchildren, Michaela, Zachary and Adam; and her sibling Annette Cole.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Rhoda's memory may be made to Care Dimensions Hospice, 75 Sylvan St., Danvers, MA 01923.
