She was predeceased by : her parents, Martin Sullivan and Amanda Sullivan (Caron); her son Richard J. Mendez; and her son-in-law Jay J. Steinmetz. She is survived by : her husband Charles J. Mendez; her children, Charles P. Mendez of Lakeland, FL, Edward M. Mendez of Atkinson, NH and Stacey A. Steinmetz of Derry, NH; her sisters, Florence Twomey of Norwood, MA and Edna McCauley of Revere, MA; and her grandchildren, Veronica Mendez, Richard Mendez, Bryn Steinmetz, Stacey Mendez and Amanda Mendez. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
