He was predeceased by: his parents, Dana B. Blatchford and Beatrice H. Blatchford (Wallace). He is survived by: his wife Paula Blatchford (Sassone); his children, Brieann Nunes and Dana M. Blatchford (Liz); his grandsons, Ryan Blatchford, Brandon Blatchford and Cameron Nunes; his sister Jean Sutera; and his pet Eli. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews and cousins.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in his name to the Cape Ann Animal Aid Association, 4 Paws Lane, Gloucester, MA 01930.
