He was predeceased by: his parents, William and Mary E. (Thomas); and his siblings, Elizabeth Butcher, Carolyn Bertolino, Dorothy Rowley, Patricia Shea, Russell, William and Robert Porper.

He is survived by: his friend Msgr; his wife Natalie E. McKay of Gloucester; his daughter Deborah A. Lanphear (William) of Lynn; and his grandson Roth W. Lanphear of Utah. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in his name to St. Ann's Church, Holy Family Parish, 60 Prospect Street, Gloucester, MA 01930.
