She was predeceased by: her children, Patricia Dinkin (Merchant) of Milford and Hugh D. Merchant of Beverly, MA; her siblings, Elliot, Parker, Sheldon Knowles, Betty Frederick, Harriet MacDonald, Roberta Davis and Janice Richards; her grandsons, Kevin C. Lane and Mark D. Merchant; and her great grandchild John Nicastro (JJ).
She is survived by: her children, Harriet (Robert LoPiccolo) of Gloucester, Joan Lane of Gloucester and Ronald Merchant (Donna). She is also survived by 19 grandchildren, many great grandchildren, great great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Florence's name may be made to Friends of Seacoast, Gloucester, MA.
