He was predeceased by: his wife Joan Monbourquette (Hall); his parents, George E. Monbourquette and Clara Monbourquette (Dagle); and his sister Mary E. Thurston of Gloucester. He is survived by: his daughters, Lori (Philip Hess) of Weston and Amy (Stefan Fisher) of Santa Clara; his grandson Lucas Hess of Weston; and his niece Carol Frontiero of Gloucester.

Donations in George's name may be made to the Ipswich Council on Aging.
