With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Irene D. Barrett (Gloucester, Massachusetts), who passed away on May 20, 2020 at the age of 83. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Irene D. Barrett to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Marques and Lucille Marques (Souza); and her siblings, Joseph Marques and Josephine Wacker. She is survived by: her children, James Barrett Jr. of Manchester, Lori McRobb (Andrew) of Gloucester and Lisa Jenkins of Gloucester; her grandchildren, Lukas, Lexi McRobb, Molly Jenkins, Sophia Barrett and Thomas Patrician; and her sister Connie Sphar (Gary) of California. She is also survived by niece, a nephew and several cousins.
Her services will be held privately due to COVID 19 precautions.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in her name to Friends of Seacoast, Seacoast Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, 292 Washington Street, Gloucester, MA 01930.
