He is survived by: his parent Winifred Muniz (Harnish); his son Eric Muniz (Chesley); his granddaughters, Carleen Eloise of Waltham and Mac Muniz (Melanie) of Bennington, VT; and his brother Robert Muniz (Jean) of Gloucester.
