She was predeceased by: her parents, Dr. George S. Rust and Pauline (Glover); and her sisters, Elizabeth Ann Philbrick and Mary Lou Hubbard. She is survived by: her significant other Raymond Shaw; her daughters, Elizabeth Ann Rich (Betsy) of Cambridge, MA and Jane Marie (Guy Fossiano); her grandsons, Michael (Cierra Fossiano) of Hampton, VA, Anthony Fossiano of Gloucester, Solomon and Winston Rich of Rockport, MA; her sister Pauline (John Connors) of Gloucester; her stepchildren, Amy (Shaw) of Concord, NH, Rick Demmons of Concord, NH, Erin (Shaw) of Concord, NH, Joe Linquata of Concord, NH, Bethany (Shaw) and Brandon Parker of Oakland, ME; and her great grandchildren, Matthew Penn and Levi Fossiano. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews and dear, dear friends also known as adopted family members.
In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made in her memory to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, P.O. Box 50, Memphis, TN 38101 – a charity that was near and dear to her heart.
