He was predeceased by : his grandparents, Neil, Mary Mathews and Loretta Lopes; and his uncle James Mathews. He is survived by : his parents, Joseph Mathews and Karen Souza (Lopes); his daughter Aubrey; his sister Arianna Souza; his stepmother Lee Mathews; his stepsister Samantha Hartwell; his grandfather Robert Lopes (Beverly); his aunts and uncles, Yvonne Tarantino, Marion Poland (Dave), Nicole Geanoulis (Jon), Marcellus Lee, Neil Mathews (Bridgette) and Thomas Mathews (Nadine); and his godparents, Michael Stanton and Janet Stanton.
