She was loved and cherished by many people including: her daughters, Claire Dorothy Adels MacCrate (Thomas), Julia Carleton Adels Quirk (Edward) and Catherine Victoria Adels McNiff (Keith); her husband Barry Robert Adels of Yonkers, NY; her daughter Elizabeth Robert Adels; her parents, Robert A. Haak of Bayside, NY and Julia Dorothy Cookingham of New Hartford, NY; her grandchildren, Caitlin Jill (María), Juliet, Isobel MacCrate, Maxim, Elizabeth, Jane, Caroline Quirk, Patrick, Daniel and Rosemary McNiff; her sister Barbara H. Cane (Mark) of New York City; her nieces, Laura, Elise and Kirstin; her nephew Jacob; and also, Lynn and Shahab Ahmed.
Donations to the Sawyer Free Library in Gloucester, where she devoured the collection, and enjoyed Great Books discussions with her grandchildren, are welcome.
