She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert D. Courant and Eleanor Courant (Greely). She is survived by: her husband Robert J. Geswell; her daughters, Leslie Peavey (late Don) and Karen Taormina (Watson); and her grandchildren, Kayla Bent (Rob), Brandon Peavey and Mathew Taormina.

Donations in her memory may be made to Cape Ann Animal Aid, 4 Paws Lane, Gloucester, MA 01930 or St. Jude Children's Hospital.
