With heavy hearts, we announce the death of John E. Degnan (Gloucester, Massachusetts), who passed away on September 12, 2018 at the age of 84. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parent Edward S.; and his siblings, Frank P. Degnan and Margaret "Peg" Degnan. He is survived by: his parent Margaret F. Degnan (Cummings); his niece Catherine Malin (Frank) of Old Saybrook, CT; his nephew Andrew Degnan (Mandy Milan) of Gloucester; his sister-in-law Mary Degnan of Gloucester; and also, Patrick Malin and Christopher Malin.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in his name to SeniorCare, 49 Blackburn Center, Gloucester, MA 01930.
