With heavy hearts, we announce the death of John H. Alto (Gloucester, Massachusetts), who passed away on September 6, 2019 at the age of 87. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of John H. Alto to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Eino Alto and Mildred Alto (Morash). He is survived by: his close friend Bill Hewitt; his wife Doris L. Alto (Harvey); his children, Harvey (Holly Alto) of Gloucester, Glenn (Pat Alto) of Rockport and Tammy Alto of Gloucester; his grandchildren, Kyle, Alysha Barrigan, Shilo Frontierro, Ryan, Emily, Amanda, Annie Alto, Michelle and Chris Alto; and his great grandchild Tessa Rae Banks. He is also survived by children and their spouses as well as their numerous grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in his name to Cape Ann Animal Aid or American Cancer Society.
