He was predeceased by: his parents, Salvatore Favazza and Crucifisa Favazza (Lucido); his son Salvatore "Torry" Favazza; his siblings, Michael Favazza (Nina), Nina Benson (Louis), Petrina Imperato, Grace Davis and Grace Parisi (Ben); and his siblings-in-law, Joseph Aiello (Catherine), Anthony "Nutzie" Aiello (Felicia), Thomas Aiello (Emily), Michael Aiello, John Aiello (Patricia), Louis Linquata, Brien Kennedy, Louis Aiello, James Ciulla and Josie DiLiberti (Michael).
He is survived by: his wife Grace Favazza (Aiello); his children, John Favazza (Maria), Joseph Favazza (Donna), Jolene Erickson, Paul Favazza (Rebecca), Lianne Palazola and Stephen Favazza (Susan); his sisters, Betty Ciulla and J. J. Pramas (Peter); and his siblings-in-law, Marie Linquata, Annette Kennedy, Joanne Aiello (Tony Tamarindo), Rose Aiello, Grace Aiello, Phil Imperato and Dickie Davis. He is also survived by his many grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews.
Joe was an avid walker and enjoyed going to the YMCA almost daily to work out with his "fan club" until Covid-19. When Joe turned 100 in April of this year, the pandemic kept his family from having a party.
