He was predeceased by: his parents, Julius H. Schmidt and Mary Schmidt (Sivy). He is survived by: his wife Alice L. Schmidt (Gall); his children, Jim of Gloucester, Lisa Dixon (William) and Lora Spear (Billy); his grandchildren, Sean, Leah Dixon, Eve, Luke and Lyla Spear; and his siblings, Bob Schmidt (Betty) of Uniontown, PA and Catherine Popovich (late Frank) of Masontown, PA. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
